All things baseball

Around our house right now baseball is pretty important, and rightfully so our two sons are playing their heart out. Our oldest K is 9 and playing for the Boston Red Sox through the Y. He is a really good player. Our youngest Gabe, 3 is playing for the Cubs. Its called Wee ball for the little guys. He is just the cutest going after the ball, and making a run for the base or sometimes just standing there. He has even been known to hit the ball and fetch it himself.

Or do this.

He can hit it far for a little fellow.

My oldest is serious about this business. Theres no messing around in his field. His coach is the best. He knows everything about baseball and is super enthusiastic about playing. We could not have ask for a better coach for K. Little Gabe's coach is awesome to, very patient man.

He really enjoys playing pitcher and strives to be his best each time. Make a mama proud.

Coach dad to the right. Straight from work to coach he is awesomeness. K getting ready to bat.

Making a shift

I have been in dire need of exercise for a little bit. Well, last Wednesday i decided it was time to go all in. I went to Body Conditioning at my gym. Talk about wanting to pass out, puke, or fall on the ground crying. I did all three not really but i thought about each one and trust me if i could have gotten away with it without anyone noticing i would have. The next day I could barley walk I was so sore and miserable. I had told a friend i would come run with her group on Fri. at the class ( I had no idea I would be so sore). Well, this morning came, and i decided to go for the run. Hill one was brutal hill two my caves were on fire, hit three i decided i would never exercise again. But I did make it. I promised to show up again next Friday. And I had already promised to hit up the body conditioning again. Next week i will probably be kicking myself. But I have to start somewhere. What is it about exercising that just stinks all together. Am I the only person that feels this way? What do you think about all this?

If you are enjoying my blog please make yourself a follower. Its nice to actually see if people are interested in what i am talking about.

Enjoy your day!

Spring/Summer

So i have a Spring Wreath i made a couple of weeks ago. I totally fell in love with it. I couldn't even put it outside after all that work i put into it and it turning out to be wonderful. See have a look:

I thought it would be an easy task, however it took me hours to make all those rosettes. It was well worth it in the end. Don't you think?
Here are the details of the rosettes. I will try to get a tutorial out next go round.

All that changes

This last week was spring break and the kids had a lot of fun. I tried to plan the whole week out to keep them busy. I successfully did that and drove myself crazy with the schedule being to full. Maybe this week there will be time for rest.

We took a ride to the river to try something new. My kids have never been with me. We normally go to the beach about once a week when the weather is hotter. The river is not that far from us either so we get the best of both worlds.

We also hit up the Exploreum in Mobile Al. Lots of fun for the kiddos. We will be hitting that spot up again.

My dear friend Allison, love this lady with all my heart! She is absolutely wonderful, not really sure how I would make it without her friendship. She keeps me grounded and focused.

Happy Wednesday to ya!
